The player can go close enough to an enemy to kill him with a single knife blow. The game takes place in the year 1960 and is about the First Cold War between the superpowers.
You, as the protagonist, can switch between multiple characters, and the game allows you to carry out several Black Ops Missions behind the enemy lines. Call of Duty: Black Ops tasks you to travel to several locations around the world, such as the USSR, Kazakhstan, Ural Mountains, Cuba, Laos Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Arctic Circles, etc. and carry out the Special Ops.
You control the main character named Alex Mason, along with CIA Agent named Jason Hudson and several other characters to complete a series of missions.
