The game takes place in the water remote research facility with machinery that begins to take on human characteristics. In this game, the player can assume the role of a protagonist named as Simon Jarrett who finds himself at the facility under the mysterious circumstances and inadvertently forced into uncovering its past while trying to make logic of his difficulty and potential feature. The player can take the first-person view and allows to freely move in the game world to complete his game objectives. SOMA consists of multiple missions, and in each mission, the player can find a large array of clues such as audio tabs and notes. At the start, the player has no weapons, but after the progress of the game, it allows the player to unlock new weapons and purchase upgrades by using his XP. The different area to explore, collect lots of items, interact objects, exploration and various puzzle to solve these are core features of the game. SOMA offers superb game setting, fantastic mechanics, and beautiful visual details.
