The game puts all characters in a life-and-death situation, which means they can save their lives by completing the assigned challenge.

As the plot advances, all characters start to reveal the secrets behind the scene, as well as its unholy purpose. The primary gameplay changes between two types of segments, such as Novel sections and Escape Sections. The escape sections force the player to complete challenging puzzles in the escape-the-room scenarios. In contrast, the novel parts let the player read the narrative of the game through visual novel segments.
