Final Fantasy XIII revolves around Role-playing genre and features only Single-player mode, developed by Square Enix for Multiple Platforms. The game is available for several platforms, and it retains similar gameplay to its previous installments available in the series. It features fast-paced combat with a new combat system that is unique to the series and will determine that abilities are created for playable characters.

It takes you to the fictional floating world, where the government is ordering a purge of citizens who comes into contact with a pulse. The plot focuses on a female protagonist, a former soldier named Lightning, who starts to battle against the government to rescue her sister, who has been captured as an unwilling servant. Soon, the protagonist joins by a team of allies, and together the team gets marked by the same Pulse creature. Many challenging stages are there, and each one requires you to complete a set of objectives for points.

Lots of Non-player characters are there for interaction, and your ultimate goal is to become the master and make the right choices, which lead you to a different story ending.

The primary gameplay needs the interaction from you as most of the duration is spent on reading the dialogues on your screen, representing either narration or dialogues between characters. The game features different ways for players to lose or win the game, including the death of the protagonist or a decision that may cause the player to be killed. With a well-written storyline, brilliant gameplay, and superb mechanics, Fate/Stay Night is an excellent game to play.
