Giana Sisters DS developed and published by Bitfield GmbH is a Puzzle, Platform, Single-player video game. It proposes over eighty levels to explore, and each of them requires the player to execute different activities and tasks.

During the game, the player has to remain engaged in performing various actions such as hit several blocks, collect multiple crystals, and attempt to find other secrets to complete the stage. In the game, the player utilizes different power-ups that he can use while exploring the map. The world map is available that includes multiple stages to complete.

There are some new objects and items that the player has to utilize while completing different missions and quests. Throughout the journey, the player must collect a bubble gum item that gets activated by using the touch screen. All of these bubbles enable the player to fly and get different experiences. At the start, the player tries to jump into the world map that allows him to select and even replay levels.
