Gadd to navigate the abandoned haunted mansions and capture all the hostile ghosts use the Polterguest 5000 (a special vacuum cleaner). It contains both single and multiplayer modes. In single-player mode, the player can explore five different areas of the game each designed around the specific theme including greenhouse, clock factory, and dark moon. Exploring the areas are consists of multiple missions that focus on completing the numbers of objectives such as retrieving an object, defeating the boss and accessing particular room, etc. To capture the ghost, the player must stun the ghost using Luigi’s flashlight equipped with the Strobulb add-on. The game also offers cooperative multiplayer mode known as ScareScraper in which up to four players and each player control a different color of the character. In multiplayer mode, the players can explore each floor of the mansion to complete series of task to progress.
