ModbusDriver Modpoll

ModbusDriver Modpoll is command-line software that is based on the Modbus master simulator and is also a sort of test utility for windows. The software is currently utilizing the FieldTalk Modbus driver. The binaries of the platform are available for the systems including Windows PCs, Linux PCs, and ARM-based Linux boards such as Raspberry Pi, BeagleBoard, and others.

The graphical user interface has been specially designed to help you monitor multiple Modbus slaves and/or data areas at the same time. Each window has its own settings, as you can specify the Modbus slave ID, function address, size, polling rate, read & write registers, and coils. The program allows you to import data from Modbus polling files (MBP file format), print information, change an individual register by simply double-clicking the appropriate field and enter the desired information, and use editing operations (cut, copy, paste, delete) to manage data embedded to registers.

ModScan is a Windows application that acts as a Modbus master. This allows you to access and modify data points on a connected slave using RTU or ASCII transmission mode. It is ideal for quick and easy Modbus compliance testing, and its built-in serial traffic display enables efficient troubleshooting of field connections. The platform allows you to open multiple documents to scan different sets of data points.

It supports direct serial, modem, and network connections that conform to the Modbus / TCP communication standard defined by Modicon. Access to Modbus data through third-party applications such as Visual Basic or ExCel is provided through native Win32 OLE Automation and database support. The easy-to-use scripting feature enables efficient production testing of Modbus slaves by performing repetitive request/response validation cycles.
