Salt and Sanctuary is a 2D, Action, Role-playing Metroidvania, Platform, Single and Multiplayer video game developed and published by Ska Studios. In this game, the player can take on the role of a princess who lives on an unknown island where she aims to defeat Nameless God’s castle, find a well with which she can escape the island to reach her home.
The gameplay is almost the same as other Metroidvania games in which the player can explore different dungeons of the game, interact with the environment, collect useful items, and kill all the enemy creatures to progress.
The game features a massive inventory system that allows the player to use a variety of things to complete his objectives. In each dungeon, the player faces different kinds of enemies, including a powerful boss that makes the game more challenging.
