Tau Analyzer is a tool that is used for recognizing original CDs by the studio from a plethora of fake CDs flooding the market. These are often created using lossy audio sources like MP3 and this tool detects just that. This tool makes use of the same advanced algorithm as used by Aucdtect but unlike it Tau Analyzer allows users to work directly on the CDs. Users can add tracks by clicking the plus icon in the tab of the same name.

They can pause the track, fast-forward it or move it. All individual files are arranged in an intelligible way where their names, starting time, size, uptime, errors, and current status are displayed in separate sections. Users can even see the Spectrum and frequency of these tracks along with the ISRC information. Even the CD info can be seen from a separate tab. User help and a compact dashboard are two of its main features.
