The House of the Dead: Overkill is an Action-Adventure, Horror Survival, and Thrill-packed First-person Shooter video game created by Headstrong Games and published by Sega. The House of the Dead: Overkill is the 5th entry in the House of the Dead: Over Kill series, introducing lots of new content.
According to the storyline, the story focuses on the Cold War, where the U.S. military made a new superhuman formula named Formula X. Unfortunately, the experiment has gone wrong, and the army sent to abandon the underground bunker and the laboratory. After some time, a series of disappearance occurred, and the corporations contacted the government.
You get selected by the government to investigate the matter, and a chopper drops you out at the location, intending to start the investigation about the mystery of Mutants. The story of the game drops you right in the middle of the danger into the bunker and the haunted surroundings where you must encounter and eliminate the mutants to stay alive by using the most advanced and powerful weapons and your advanced combat techniques.
The House of the Dead: Overkill offers brilliant gameplay, and most of the characters are the same as in the earlier games of the series. The House of the Dead: Overkill provides enhanced mechanics, excellent visuals and sound, immersive gameplay, and a well-written storyline.
