Wing Commander Arena is a Single-player Space Combat Simulation developed by Gaia Industries and published by EA for Xbox 360. The game serves as the spin-off of the most popular video game series Wing Commander, released in 2007. It involves players fighting against each other in dogfights that take place in one of nine different environments. There are eighteen different ships available, and each one equips with weapons and other gears.
Up to sixteen players can be a single-match; however, there are two different game modes available, such as Single-player and Multiplayer. The game features various game modes, such as Capture the Flag, Death Match, and more. Start navigating the world along with your team, and kill enemies to earn in-game points. Additional stages will unlock as you fulfill the requirements of each one. During the gameplay, you navigate the world from a top-down perspective on a 2D plane, instead of the first-person viewpoint for the cockpit view.
More About Total Eclipse
Total Eclipse is a 1994 Single-player Space Flight Simulation developed by Crystal Dynamics for PlayStation. It takes place in a 3D environment, where you can navigate the world from a third-person viewpoint. In the game, you fly a ship of your choice across a series of stages, as your character is free to accelerate, decelerate, and maneuver across the challenging obstacles and attack enemies for in-game points.
Instead of space, the ship of the player flies over planetary surfaces and through tunnels. There are several challenging stages available, and each one requires the completion of objectives to leave you a set of rewards. Your ship will destroy upon being shot by enemies or colliding with enemies, as well as terrains. There are different types of power-ups available, and each one rewards you with in-game powers to take on enemies within no time.
