It is not necessary to use this before doing anything on your computer. Unless you are planning on opening Mac APFS and HFS format disk drives and DMG files from Windows, you will have a nice transparent window that will show you the content of the drive. It is easy to download and set up on your computer because it does not take any space. It is designed for the Windows operating system, and it does not apply to any other operating system. It has so many features that it should be available in other OS.

If you want to keep your pen-drive secure, I suggest you take advantage of this platform because before opening any file, it will run a diagnostics and then provide your window where you can access or see the files and folder of the drive. In my opinion, you should try it for once because you will never know what type of thing you might injection to your computer and which may lead to some deadly viruses.
